Y finalmente 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment decidió editar "La Novicia Rebelde" en Blu-Ray.

Estuve chequeando ultimamente una puesta con Connie Fisher como María. Está muy bien lograda realmente.




Connie Fisher, la protagonista femenina, saltó a la fama en el Reino Unido tras ganar el concurso televisivo “How do you solve a problem like Maria”, que le llevó a protagonizar THE SOUND OF MUSIC en el London Palladium.

Ella sacó un par de CDs haciendo mayormente covers sino me equivoco.



El nuevo trabajo discográfico de la actriz Connie Fisher `Secret Love´ es un álbum integrado por un total de 13 temas que incluye canciones de Gershwin e Ivor Novello, entre otros compositores. Destacan también temas de musicales clásicos, como "Memory" (CATS) o "I Could Have Danced All Night" (MY FAIR LADY). Fisher, además, ha contado con la colaboración del intérprete Lee Mead en uno de los temas, "Next Time You Fall in Love". Mead, ganador del concurso de la BBC `Any Dream Will Do´, protagonizó JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT en el Adelphi Theatre de Londres.

`Secret Love´ será el segundo álbum en solitario de Connie Fisher, que en el año 2006 debutó como solista con `Favourite Things´, un disco editado tras proclamarse vencedora del concurso televisivo `How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?´.

Connie Fisher saltó a la fama en el Reino Unido tras ser elegida, a través del mencionado reality de televisión, para protagonizar la nueva producción de THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Tras interpretar durante 15 meses el papel de María Von Trapp en el London Palladium (del 15 de noviembre del 2006 al 23 de febrero del 2008), Fisher abandonó la producción para centrarse en nuevos proyectos.

Connie es muuuy buena en el rol de María; en el 2006, seguí por YouTube los resultados semanales
de "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" hasta que salió ganadora y hace poco se realizó un concurso
similar por la TV canadiense para elegir la protagonista de la puesta teatral local. Sus dos discos y la versión
del musical en UK fueron producidos por Andrew Lloyd Webber, quien se encuentra muy enfermo por estos días.

Con respecto al post anterior, junto con el Blu-Ray va a lanzarse también el DVD en versión "45 aniversario".

More than 200 dancers were performing their version of "Do Re Mi", in the Central Station of Antwerp. with just 2 rehearsals they created this amazing stunt! Those 4 fantastic minutes started the 23 of march 2009, 08:00 AM. It is a promotion stunt for a Belgian television program, where they are looking for someone to play the leading role, in the musical of "The Sound of Music"

No, son un pecado. Mirar La Novicia Rebelde doblada al castellano es un pecado, no es capital, pero debería serlo.
20th Century Fox en USA creo que jamás editó algo con audio gallego, pero tampoco me juego mi entrada al cielo por ellos.

De hecho, la edición especial en DVD del 40mo. aniversario tiene pistas
de audio en español (totalmente insoportable e incomprensible) y en francés (más pasable).
No creo que se jueguen esta vez por el doblaje en castellano neutro (mexicano), pero me gustaría que sí lo hicieran.
